Peixian @malloc.dog · May 21 I made an extremely dumb purchase, which is this 1857 copy of sirat Al najjat, likely commissioned for aliqoli Mizar qajar. Although I've run into Ansari's work before, I didn't really know about this treatise, which is kinda neat.

IIRC ansari's two major works were almakasib and alrasa'il, so this is v cool. Probably will attempt a translation this year, I think there's an 1883 lithograph floating around somewhere, but we can find out how accurate the katib was
