Video of the game Gex during the final boss fight where the player missed a shot for what would’ve been an easy opening. Then the final boss continuously spins with the most ear destroying sfx one can ever imagine.
Gameplay of Xenoblade Chronicles X where the player character named Mallowind, a human with a party of three made of Nagi, another human, and two xenos named Neil and Celica. They’re all fighting an indigen named Stratospheric Balaena, which resembles a giant whale that can fly. Mallowind activates his overdrive, causing the screen to have a blur effect applied over it as he attempts to use Assault Hammer to topple the enemy. Afterwards, he rushes behind it with little room to move so he can get the added bonus Assault Breaker gives when attacking from behind. The enemy slams the ground and because of the games arbitrary hit detection, causes Mallowind to fling off the ledge everyone was fighting on and then falling for a while as he flails his arms and legs.
