I googled “Weather” and instead of the weather widget, Google gave me an AI summary of a week old weather report from an unknown location in Alabama.

I asked DuckDuckGo about the UK Home Secretary. Its AI offered this answer. 3 problems: - It wasn't Angela Rayner. - Angela Rayner has never been Home Sec. Ever. - The National Portrait Gallery seems an odd choice for a source.

I got the weather widget but with weather for Northern California even though I'm in Southern California, and it shows my city right under the search bar.

So many useful google search widgets are gone, it's so annoying. "10am in Amsterdam in NYC" felt like magic and now it just gives out a slow and wonky AI response.

I was looking up which NOAA satellites have been decommissioned and the AI summary kept referring to 2025 as sometime in the near future.

Its way more fun when you tell the assistant where home is then ask it what is the weather at home... and it uses your IP address and gives you random weather several states away.

I often stop myself from posting screenshots of my worst AI google results but honestly thank you for doing this, because wow they are so bad
