The fertility decline is everywhere in the world today and goes back decades for rich countries. Birthrates have been below replacement in the U.S. and Europe since the mid-1970s. Completed cohort fertility in the U.S. was lower for those born in 1955 than for
1975. The reasons for the initial declines involve greater female autonomy and a mismatch between the desires of men and women. Men generally benefit more from maintaining traditions; women often benefit more from eschewing them. When the probability is low that men will abandon traditions, some career women will not have children and others will delay.

It is a chaotic scene on the National Mall.
Several hundred people have refused to leave despite an order to evacuate because of severe inclement weather that is approaching. Some are even arguing with Secret Service agents. At one point, a crowd of people began running back toward the stage. An officer is sternly repeating the order over a bullhorn and the crowd is booing. Many have begun chanting "U.S.A., U.S.A." A federal law enforcement officer is trying to assure people that the event has not been canceled. Many are not convinced.
One man walking by blamed the situation on "liberals in the weather service," adding, "I think this is baloney."

With view of Capitol in distance, there are finally people on the onetime National Mall-turned State Fairground. It’s hardly crowded but no longer quite so empty. About half the people in view are seated or prone on grass.

Reminder that there is no point to this other than bigotry.
Banning trans women from women's bathrooms means allowing trans men into them. This creates a situation where male-presenting people are in female spaces far more than they are now. If I was a straight male pervert l would love this.

The sacrifice doesn't sit well with all of his crew of roughly 5,000. Many of the sailors on the Ford are men and women in their early 20s who miss their parents and home-cooked meals. Others have their own children. They try to stay in touch with loved ones through phone calls and WhatsApp messages, but the secrecy around carrier movements means their communication

"Don't" redactions
Had a friend post about a pretty innocuous email exchange from the Epstein files... until you notice that the word "don't" is redacted for some reason near the bottom. Hmm, why would the word don't be redacted....

Pretty obvious the FBI used software to automatically redact key words from the files. Now why would they redact "Don T" when the law very clearly and explicitly says that only victim names and faces are to be redacted
