The epitome of the American road-trip, desperate, barren, mixing wildly different weather conditions, with no living soul in sight, and the great American outdoors, for whatever it is worth. An overall feeling of helplessness with regards to the elements, a strong balance of colors, the grey and yellow tarmac, the sand and brush, the dark brown poles, the menacing blueish skies, the snow-topped peaks, the tortured clouds, the horizontal yellow and white line on the road. I would like to walk there, with a coyote, to the endless purpose of staying alive, eating grass maybe, rodents, more likely.
