0th of November 2024, we will be celebrating LGBTQ+ in STEM day in style, with a mini-conference to showcase the research, roles and experience of our LGBTQ+ staff and students. The event will be taking place in C42 in the Biomedical Sciences Building from 1-5pm. The event will feature a plenary talk from Sarah Cosgriff on Asexuality in STEM, before talks from staff and students in STEM departments in the university, sharing perspectives on their research, roles or study area alongside personal insights, stories or experience of being LGBTQ+ in the field of STEM.
