Why are state VRAs important? We are witnessing attacks, not progress, on voting rights federally. The U.S. Supreme Court has severely weakened the federal VRA, and Congress has not only failed to revitalize it but is now pushing anti-voter laws like the SAVE Act. State VRAs fill these gaps!
