Tears Of The Kingdom Purah saying, “It’s showtime!”
Young actual teenage Purah in Age Of Calamity, nervously examining the Sheikah slate after nearly dropping it. An emotion never seen from any of her older selves.
The most direct evidence we see on-screen for Purah & Zelda’s relationship in Tears Of The Kingdom is found only in Purah’s character bio. Though it’s natural to assume they’re close even without this information. Zelda’s a nerd, Purah’s a nerd, they know each other. This word of god information is almost not necessary. Bio text: Purah. Head of Lookout Landing. The highest authority on ancient technology. She has served Princess Zelda's family for much of her life and has worked with the princess tor research the Zonai civilization. Most recently. they started an investigation into the outbreak of gloom. She has used herself as a test subject in her experiments. Despite being over a century in age, she reversed her aging to the extreme and actually looked like a child not too long ago.
Purah being sassy & overfamiliar with Link yet not lastingly affected by him forgetting about her. Going from “Nooo how can you forget me!” To unfazedly noting it down in her notebook saying “hmm, that’s to be expected.” Here she’s further teasing Link by muttering as she notes something down in her notebook, “hmm… post Slumber Of Restoration, subject is plagued by… presumptuous… tendencies. Noted!”
When Link shows up at her doorstep, things crashing inside are heard right before swings the door open, map & mess visible inside behind her, breathing heavily as if she sprinted. Text at the end reads: Purah: Head Of Lookout Landing. Audio Transcript: “Ok.. now where have you been?!” “Linky, you’re not a ghost are you?” “… hey, that looks interesting” (camera zooms in on Link’s new arm) (Purah pauses & takes a few settling breaths.) “Okay… one step at a time.” “What exactly happened?”

Or maybe they’re spamming the feed fish food button till his belly cartoonishly pops, it’s hard to tell from a single screenshot.
The many collectibles to be found in Virtual Villagers Secret City, colored in ones are the ones already found. Many different turtle shells, coral pieces, feathers, tablet pieces… there’s also three gemstone shaped holes in the big door in the middle.

The corrupted as fuck tutorial area. The fence & other objects are still there, but part of the ground is an unnatural green, part of the ground is straight up black.

Gameplay footage, 4 of my ghost echoes team up on some large dragonfly enemies, they’re tricky & the first one dodges a few times, but as I respawn the ghosts to go after the others the bugs fall quickly. They’re white ghosts that attack by licking, hence the ghastly used lick joke.

Zelda hopping around on speckles of land on an icy lake. My peahat, which is a giant flying plant that spins its pointy roots rapidly to cause damage, takes a bit to wind up at the tricky levitating & teleporting ice wizard opponent. I buy it enough time by distracting the Wizzrobe & taking a hit from its ice attacks, which do me no damage due to my ice proof potion. Towards the end of the video Zelda literally jumps into the line of fire at the last second to defend her summon long enough to deal the finishing blow. Victory!

I’ve uncovered every bit of the map & unlocked every warp point EXCEPT the area around the Jabbul Waters Rift, where I’m supposed to go. I've even made it to the top of Mount Lanayru.

My Limur found Oil! Yea this game’s pretty quirky too. The amount of crafting materials hidden everywhere on the map is mind-boggling. A huge bug-like creature has taken over the garden, & supernatural purple vines infect the quarry. Much to be done here.

After talking to the dog again I follow it to the boxes, where it suddenly gets out of my way & blatantly moves to my other side almost as if it’s nudging me onto the boxes. Indeed I can jump from the boxes to the roof of his owner’s lil shop stall. Owner’s comically unfazed gaze never leaves me until I’m directly overhead. Nothing else happens, it’s just a funny & pointless platforming spot. Dog’s tail wags as he watches me just like any other time in this and the previous clip.
I playing as Princess Zelda in her lil princess dress & everything, standing in a pot of flowers, trying to repeatedly to hop onto the adjacent roof. A dog has run over to watch me. I give up & after talking to the dog who playfully barks at me. Dog seems to try to lead me towards the boxes at the side of its owner’s shop stall, but then follows me as I try to leave.
Dog barks when talked to. At the end of the video a different dog approaches & watches me curiously as I try to jump onto a roof from a flowerbed.
I made it to the top of the chimney of the house that’s been mostly swallowed by the rift.
Princess Zelda hops along the tops of the hedges. Some NPCs occasionally look in her direction but are unfazed.
I climb the ladder & end up at the same well entrance I couldn’t jump into earlier.
I jump into the water, & after a pause of processcing that she starts the game able to swim, I do some happy spins in the water.
I leave a pot on the table & hop around a bit more before finding some stairs to the… well? Anyways the soldier there is visibly asleep till I approach, he’s somewhat awake but still gets jumpscared when the Princess of all people randomly shows up at the bottom of a well.
I attempt to sneak up on the soldier using the cartoony ability to walk around while hiding in a pot. He ignores me though.
Just me discovering I can stand on the table, I hop around the room a bit, a soldier training in the corner ignores me. At the very end I accidentally discover the ability to hide in pots.
Immediately after the girl by the well tells me she’s relieved I’m okay, I turn around & repeatedly try hopping into the well. To no avail since it’s too high.
Oh, please mind your footing near the rift. It just appeared, but it isn’t growing, at least.
I immediately went to see if I coil hop into the town fountain. I can! I spin around. Nearby guard completely ignores me.

After the rift stops moving, Zelda slowly inches closer to take a closer look, then slowly inches back.
Everything is collapsing! Run girl, run!
I run away on reflex at first but then curiously got the better of me.
Just me repeatedly walking into the rift’s edge.
After breaking out of the Crystal, I experiment with a few lil hops, walk around, the fairy-like light interrupts me & tries to lead me to Link’s cape. I immediately try to jump into the void instead. But am blocked by an invisible wall.
Screen fades from the cutscene to a gameplay screen where Zelda’s still inside the crystal. She intermittently punches her way out as I slowly realize my nervous button mashing was actually influencing her actions.
Before ganon fades away, he sets the trident that’ll create the rift down into the ground, & laughs in evil glee, as if he’d won, not lost.
Takes a few tries, but I manage to get the hand of parrying the fireballs & hitting Ganon with arrows.
Ganon heckin gets me with that one attack a shield can’t block. Gameover screen.
Manage to pass a phase here.
My shield immediately fails me & I take 4 hearts of damage right off the bat. Oh yeah this boss fight is against Ganon himself by the way.
Game-ey purple-tinged translucent wall appears behind me, indicating this is gonna be an actual boss fight, not a cutscene.
Link does some very high front flips. Feels like a platforming game. Also tried the run past enemies, didn’t work, so I used my shield & kicked ass. But then I accidentally brought out another bomb while walking over to pick up a heart piece, I pause comically.
