All the assuming and wa-wa-whining is frustrating. Previous governments set lots of rules and limits … no plans. Doubling the electricity grid with a solid % of renewables will do more for our climate goals than not building a pipeline, forcing US to pay more for our oil is icing.

This sounds nice. However, so far I've not seen much commitment to developing renewable energy. You are putting all our eggs in one stinky, polluting O&G basket. If you were committed to your 'values', you'd do something like a 2:1 ration for renewables and O&G. Do your values mean anything?
