The Spire of Notre Dame by Robert Delaunay, 1909. I saw this beautiful painting at the wonderful Palazzo Zabarella in Padova last week. Delaunay and his wife Sonia were co-founders of the Orphism movement, an offshoot of cubism, and brilliant painters both. #art #cubism #orphism
