Throwback to when I took a drive to see Neil at The Retro Collective and we spent a nice afternoon playing with our disks. The Amstrad CPC stuff was very well built, but having a drive back in the 80s was luxury. I never knew anyone with one. #retrocomputing #amstradcpc @retrocollective.co.uk

I had the 464, got fed up with tapes and my dad did a trade to get me a 6128. I was a lucky boy, only one other kid at school had a machine with a disc drive and that was a C64. Yep he was the rich kid!

Only kid I knew with a 6128 lived on the posh new build estate. He also had a mountain bike with gears. There was me on tapes and a bmx with one gear. One.
