It was a great finale and to see so many celebrities there supporting Colbert just gave it the icing on the cake. Now to keep my fingers crossed that CBS / Paramount lose a huge amount of followers moving forward.
When he left Comedy Central for the Late Show was pretty sad. This one wasn’t as sad as that, it was more of an FU to cbs and donOLD.
It was amazing. The quartet... just them sitting there in low light singing. That one took me out.

Watching the finale was sad, uncomfortable and except for the pre-recorded bits, stephen looked embarrassed to be there. Tough night and tough to watch, to be perfectly honest. Change is coming at us fast and furious. Seeing the Late Show lights go off was super sad.

I first discovered him with The Colbert Report. I didn't really like the end result back then (especially compared to Jon Stewart). But he kept working until he found the right formula. I'm sure the ratings were outstanding by the end, and now it's a real loss for the network. Shame on it.
