A friend said today they didn’t feel like celebrating. The current leaders deserve only opposition. But we can and should embrace the ideas and values that define the nation, from “created equal” to freedoms of speech, of religion, freedom from want and freedom from fear.
I have one of those shirts and am wearing it today!
