Markus Drake @markusdrake.bsky.social · Dec 22 Post your first RPG Mine was Drakar och Demoner (2.1) by Äventyrsspel, with this amazing Elric-cover, a Christmas gift from my grandmother in Stockholm, age 10. We were returning to Finland from living abroad. Opening a new RPG will always be connected to the ferry trip home. I was obsessed.

I obviously was under the recommended age, but also REALLY had no idea what I was doing. Trying to GM to a bunch of 10-12-year-olds was terrible and terrifying. It would be YEARS before there any actual positive experiences (running the Kult-oneshot "Sista Inseglet"/The Last Seal) as a GM.
