Very blue sky, not a cloud. Wisteria blossom, bunches of heaped lilac flowers draped along the wall under tiled low roof. At the apex of the roof is a blacksmith-made (my birthday gift to my partner, 1997) weather vane in the shape of a motorbike. SE wind is strong today

Thankful for this tiny clump of Bluebells, flowering at the base of a venerable senior Ash tree. Possibly a very old hedge bank? Bluebell’s friends close by are Primroses & new foliage of Oxeye Daisies in sunshine.

It’s a sunny afternoon. Walls are painted cream. A framed lino print of an Owl’s face hangs beside a clock which shows almost 4pm. 1980s Laura Ashley print curtains at the window are a print of pale yellow roses. On the table, a pink/orange checked cloth with a ceramic mug vase of mixed Daffodils. Some are cream, others yellow & orange. A glass bowl from my late Mum contains orange clementines. Peaceful
