Escaped a little early from a high tech career. Studied photography in Oxford. Now exploring life and place with a camera, often found on two wheels or a boat on the cut. Dw i’n dysgu Cymraeg. (I am learning Welsh.)

From a demo. People viewed from behind, only the tops of their heads in frame. A brick built municiple building in the background. A union flag is partly shown on the extreme left in the distance. Immediately in front of the camera to the right, a woman with blonde hair holds up a sign saying "hate yachts not dinghies".
Far right faction on a demo march. In the foregroung the backs of a single policeman on each side nearest to the camera, In the middle distance demonstrators marching with banners and flags, viewed from the rear. Beyond the demonstrators pink smoke has almost completely obscured the scene, an array of flags barely visible through the melee.
Lit by sunlight in the centre is a small metal toothed gear wheel. It orange with rust on the teeth and shows a darker colour elsewhere. In shadow to the left is a small section of a much larger gear, and to the right, also in shadow is part of the stone structure of the mill.
On Horseguards Parade, centered amidst monumental masonry, an elderly man creates an artwork on an easel, whilst behind him and slightly to the left a younger man takes a photograph of the same view using a smartphone.

A brick built bridge, part of a disused railway has been almost totally pbscured by the vegetation that now engulfs it. Only the top left quarter is visible showing a small quadrant of the arch.
In monochrome. A couple kiss under the bridge of Sighs in the middle distance as a person closer to the camera pictures them on a phone. More people pass beyond them, unaware of the scene.
In old Budapest. A dark night the door of a corner shop shines white in contrast to the deep black, lit by what little light is available. Just to the side of the door a dark person is only noticed because of the light from their phone reflecting in their face.
An elderly man is in the extreme left of the scene wearing a hat and glasses, he is sitting on a tall chair in an indoor market and dressed in a plaid shirt and a jacket. To the right is a brightly lit aisle with various clothes and merchandise displayed on racks and shelves in the background.
The black-and-white photo captures a group of people standing outdoors at the million women rise protest. The central figure is a woman holding a drink with a straw, wearing a scarf and a coat. Her expression is thoughtful or contemplative. To her right are two men, one wearing glasses and the other a cap, both engaged in conversation. In the background, there are signs held by other people. The overall mood conveys a sense of quiet focus amidst a bustling crowd.

The surface of the canal appears solid due to it's covering of weed. The towpath is leading down from a bridge to run along a grey stone warehouse.
A monochrome image, the scene is almost completely black. In the centre a road lit by street lights and car headlights can be seen from above (from the top of the gorge).
