heavypaint drawing of two of my characters at the end of their lunch break. they’re both wearing their work uniforms (not full gear tho), and since they’re doing different jobs the uniforms are very different. Rylan who’s standing with their front to us, is wearing their usual white protective gear made out of the material that resembles silicone. they’re tightening a long white band around their forearm, clearly finishing putting on the last pieces of their uniform. Diego, on the other hand, is not in a hurry and is currently finishing his cigarette. his uniform is more about keeping him warm and comfortable, and it is not as complicated as Rylan’s. here he’s wearing simple blue pants and a warm sweater. we can’t see Diego’s face (he’s standing with his back to us), but Rylan is looking at him with slight suspicion and amusement, like you’d look at a funny stranger who’s somehow taking all your attention while doing nothing in particular.

drawing timelapse of three pictures from the quoted post. it looks like heavypaint records the timelapse of each created layer separately. there were three (four? maybe some finishing details are on the separate layer? i don’t know anymore) layers made here in total. landscapes, people, and the third frame’s overlay layer, and they’re all are being played one after the other. heavypaint is a wild beast.

sketchbook drawings of a bird called storm petrel. i saw the bird mentioned in a book i was reading (in a context of a human being called a stormy petrel), and i didn’t know what that meant, so i had to look it up. languages are hard and i have to speak three of them daily. anyway, ‘stormy petrel’ is a rebellious person.
