I will be staffing the visitor center and running environmental education programs at one of my favorite local parks and I could not be more excited! Unfortunately, I still have a little while until the job starts, and my savings and tax refund will not quite cover my rent until then. I'm hoping to raise about $2k to cover approximately a month and a half of rent and expenses, and would really appreciate any support anyone is able to give. Screenshot of text: I was staying in a little cabin high up on a hill. It was a paradise, our lodge sitting amidst an otherwise uninterrupted sea of tall grass. Occasional gusts of warm, calming wind revealed themselves in currents and waves on the flora surface. It would have overlooked a coastal city at the mouth of a river valley, if not for the massive white puffy clouds that constantly drifted through, obscuring any sight of the town but reflecting the light to make the hillside all the brighter. I was staying there with a couple people for a week or two, in a tiny two room shack, and spent most of the day sitting on the hillside and watching the clouds drift by, occasionally getting a glimpse of slivers of the sky or valley in a rare break in the clouds.

Last night I dreamt a vlogger recorded his day walking along a popular suburban river, flowing gently and lined with grass, occasionally passing under shady tree cover or around bends lined with tiny strips of sand barely wide enough to stand on. It started with him catching and talking about the local fish, as well as talking to people he came across, such as a bee scientist he knew named Erin who was studying ground hives with a research team. He eventually ran into another friend, and after walking together for a while, they found a huge pirate ship moored to the bank, far too large for the body of water it inhabited. They decided to unmoor it and sail it down the river, putting on an impromptu pirate show for the onlookers relaxing along the banks. Neither knew how to sail it and it crashed back and forth between the sides of the river as it went, making huge echoey cracking sounds, but never causing the two men enough concern to stop their show.
