This is the profile sketch of the printed design. The dashed lines are there to reference the item the print would be holding. Solid lines to be extruded. A small gap on either side of the flex PCB ensure you're not going to damage it on installation and the vertical ramps (at 40deg angles) allow it to be printed standing up as shown. There was a balance of making sure it didn't block the light from the COB bead but enough meat to ensure it was holding on the FPC well enough. This took a couple iterations.
