Throughout the twentieth century in England and Wales, the average age of a mother when she had her first child was about 25, but got to it's lowest point (23.7yrs) in 1971 It's been consistently climbing ever since, and in 2024 it was 29.4 yrs Teen pregnancy is now rare. That's good, right?

Not in America! Lol. These fools over here trying to promote teen pregnancy and a "more than a family can afford" approach to childbirth. No social assistance, however.
