This is Omega 12, from David Mitchell¹'s "Paper Crystals". The module is simple to fold, but the assembly had me tearing my hair out². I might remake it from larger paper as I think it will look better. ¹Not /that/ David Mitchell ²If I had any left, that is. #origami #UKMathsChat #mathsky

What is particularly interesting about this (and several other models in that book) is that the modules don't connect end-to-end, but rather end-to-middle. It means that the colour/pattern scheme isn't what I expected - although there are 12 modules, it's not a simple square/octagon graph.
