Andrew Stacey @mathforge.org · May 26 Magic roundabouts seem to be appearing everywhere these days. I drove round this one in Hemel Hempstead earlier today. The red lines of traffic are simply people trying to figure out which way round it to drive.

Years ago (pre sat nav) my dad was getting directions to Abbots Langley from a barman. He came back to the table and said "I'll check in the car soon as he said magic roundabout I stopped listening and nodded to be polite"
Back in the mid 1980s, I used to deliberately take friends round this roundabout, just to scare them a little😉
