After the announcement for Persona 4 Revival and that game looked a little earlier in development than we expected, I started playing Persona 4 Golden. I've noticed two things pretty strongly. The first is that Persona 4 is much quieter than Persona 3 Reload or Persona 5 Royal, which are what I'm comparing it to. And it's so much quieter that the pacing can feel off, especially between dungeons and major plot points. Now, this does fit the small town country vibe they're going for, and I've had moments where that rang true, so I'm not quite ready to call this a bad thing yet. And the second is that these characters are very mean to each other. Again, this is not necessarily negative, it might be the story of the game. It's just something that I immediately noticed in comparison to 5 Royal and 3 Reload. I probably will do a full video on Persona 4, but probably not until Revival comes out, so make sure that you're subscribed.
