Finding a solution will require bridging the two perception gaps that exist around the league. The first is fans who think MLS is far worse than it is. The second is league owners who think MLS is better than it is. MLS needs to convince fans it’s worth watching, and it needs to convince owners that spending differently will improve the league and drive more viewers.
