A pathway winds through a park, icy snowbanks on either side left over after hot winds left the open fields beyond bare and warm toned brown. In the middle distance, the steep walls of the Bow River Valley create the kind of horizon you only find in the northern middle of the continent - deep glacial till deposits worn away by rushing glacial meltwater.
