At the end of stream yesterday I said that it was my hope that this week would be the last where everything was so up in the air that I could finally go back to doing proper midweek stuff again. That was apparently premature because something happened today that has made everything collapse all over again and even harder than before. For the foreseeable future, Saturdays will be the only streams happening and it's also likely that they could be cancelled on short notice for me to deal with all of this. I'll do my best to give warning of their cancellation, but if today is anything to go by, it's likely I'll have maybe moments before they get canned. I'm sorry about all this. I truly am. Everything has been kicking me further and further down and all today has done is open up the pit I've spent the last seven years trying to claw my way out of and drop me back down in it. I hope that at some point there will be a more pleasant update to give you, but today is, unfortunately, not that day.
"Well, it's finally happened. After five months, I finally have my Thursdays back. Aside from one final phonecall that has yet to be scheduled, the AuDHD workshops that I've been in since October of last year have come to an end. I have learned a lot (probably way too much, even for a course of that length) and have at least a rough idea of where to go next. More importantly for the scope of this message though, is that Thursday streams will be making a return! Not only that, but they will be the start of the First-day streams that I'll be doing through the year~ I'll be having this Thursday for myself (because my god I actually get to lie in on a Thursday for the first time in.... well, okay, since Christmas, but aside from that, the first time since October) but next week will be the start of the Year of Firsts! Next Tuesday will be a run through of Lilac's story in Freedom Planet 1 to refresh my memory (because according to Steam, I've not played Freedom Planet since 2018, holy frick) and then next Thursday will be the first First-day stream starting Freedom Planet 2, as voted for by you~ I am SUPER excited to get started. I can't wait~ See you all then!"
2026 - The Year of Firsts Starting February, Thursday streams will return as “First-day” streams where I play games I’ve either never played before or never gotten around to finishing. Votes will be held on Discord to pick what game comes next after completing one. It’s finally time to try and clear some of that backlog... Let’s see how many we can get through this year!

Screenshot from a Discord post by me in my server. Hello @everyone. An important heads up about future streams until (roughly) February of next year. As you all (probably) know, I've been dealing with a lot of mental health issues for the last few years, resulting in a bunch of therapy and doctor visits and so on. More recently, I've been diagnosed with ADHD and have been told it's likely that I have Autism as well (though that isn't a formal diagnosis because the process of getting a formal Autism diagnosis put in my file is long (Like.... at least a year of waiting kind of long, according to my therapist)). However, I've been asked to attend a workshop of courses on ADHD and Autism to help my understanding of it (especially since this has been something that has been undiagnosed for literal decades and is something that should have been picked up on when I was in frickin' junior school, but whatever). These courses are being held on Thursday afternoons, right around the time I start streaming, meaning that there won't be any Thursday streams for A While™ as these workshops go on. The first one starts in the first week of October, so the plan is this: The first week of October will only have a stream on Tuesday. Thursday's will be cancelled entirely so I can get a feel for how these workshops are going to go (especially since the first one is... well, literally that.... An explanation of all the workshops going forwards). If they're not too draining, I'll look at setting up an alternate schedule for while they're happening (Most likely it will be Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, but it's also been suggested that I do Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, we'll see how it goes when we get there). If they are particularly draining, I'll likely only do the Tuesday and Saturday streams for definite, with the odd extra stream as and when. Thanks for your understanding :MaxFirLove:
