A package I tried using didn’t have the essential features it purported to have, and forgot to change the “docs” (readme) after the features were “removed”(?). Maintainer admits it (the package) was ‘vibe coded’ aka lying about what it was. If they had said this on the tin I wouldn’t have tried it out. I’m not becoming big fans of the go ecosystem lately.

my university course has a few notes on how you need to disable encryption at multiple levels in order to do packet sniffing with wireshark, and it's a bit comical how, since the course doesn't intend to talk about all these specifics, this setup guide reads a bit like encryption is an annoying technical detail.
