They are still making well reviewed turn based games. You can buy these right now! And you should if you want more turn based games from them. Money speaks. Support these franchises. Play them, talk about them, get people interested.

And I also feel I need to point out this unfair conversation about combat in FF16. Stranger of Paradise, another Final Fantasy with heavy action combat, was reviewed mildly worse than 16 but the dialogue in the fandom was much more positive. Why? It wasn't a main title. That's it.
