Thank you for your message. I imagined I might receive messaging to this effect, and I hoped I was wrong. This response from ThermoFisher is very disappointing. I’m not sure you appreciate the extent to which the scientific research community is sensitive to issues of commercial antibody reliability, and data fabrication. To combine them creates an extremely sensitive issue. Another researcher worded it perfectly on social media: “They had this one chance to respond honestly and show they take this seriously. And they just blew it, big time. This will likely prove a billion-dollar mistake.”
