Think about the structural trap this creates. The federal government must roll over and refinance trillions in debt every single year, at whatever the prevailing rate is, while simultaneously running deficits that require new borrowing on top. Every 100 basis points of sustained higher rates adds tens of billions to the annual interest bill, which adds to the deficit, which requires more bond issuance, which at auction may require even higher yields to clear.

Burton Custom 163cm Snowboard Plus Free Bindings - $350 OBO.
