I was on a plateau in Peru with a couple of people who believed in UFOs. The first night, they kept pointing at planes (in and out of Lima) and planets, and shouting, "Look! A UFO!" And then, of course, I'd correct them. They never again asked me to join them.

These people would go crazy living where I do. I have Buckley Space Force base to the south of me and DIA to the north. I see planes, jets, helicopters, and stars, all the time. We can even see the moon during the day. I can only imagine the conspiracy theories coming from all that.
The Flight Radar app will identify any moving object in the sky. Point and search.

I saw a news report where a guy was in his back yard pointing at supposed drones all around in the sky, and you could see that several of the closer ones had red and green lights just exactly like airplanes have on their wingtips to indicate starboard and port sides. IOW, they were probably planes.
