This is the only platform that I’m able to go to That’s not infiltrated with Elon Musk funded bot accounts spreading disinformation to try to confuse people this man has no bounds. He’s the richest guy in the world ppl need to remember this when reading comments with no profiles elsewhere
Also you won’t need to spend the first 1/2 on the site before you can even get to your feed… wading through vulgar and threatening posts/follows. It’s a trade off worth the peace.

Let's be honest, the maga crowd basically invented the cancel and censor culture. Trump and musk talk about freedom but the first thing they did was cancel and censor people. They are grifters and liars not leaders.
Similarly. Why are News networks that tell blatant lies and incite hate allowed to use the word News in their name? Without fact-checking, are they not just entertainment? They should come with disclaimers highlighting what people are about to watch is false or distorted for entertainment purposes.

I'm very quick to block trolls on BlueSky. They don't have to be nasty to me; I'll block them if they just won't argue in good faith. It seems I am the norm on BlueSky. I also suspect that BlueSky's moderation system flags users who get too many blocks too quickly.
Which is why our numbers are growing.

'Rudeness' is a trait that should be regularly frowned upon and actively called out in society more broadly. I applaud this action by Bluesky mods.
It's getting harder to find SM that allows true freedom of speech. Meta folded, so did Google (YT) and so has TT. I've closed all those accounts and moved to BS and SS. Can't wait for Neptune to be up and running, it's supposed to be a newer, better version of TT.
