5) The big overlap in 2-day CPET results between ME/CFS patients and controls makes it unlikely that this test accurately measures PEM. Because it would mean that either a lot of ME/CFS don’t have PEM or that a lot of healthy controls have it as well.

6) This new paper by Natelson also suggests that the ME/CFS patients in their study reported more symptoms following exercise, even though their mean CPET results stayed the same.
