1) Watched this presentation by Dr. Steve Gardner from PrecisionLife. Their genetic analysis suggests that ME/CFS is highly polygenic and heterogeneous. They are using their data to make drug repurposing trials more effective, for example on GLP-1 receptor agonists.

Did they mention anything about the trial they are part of in the US aiming to test generic drugs targeted at different subtypes identified by their method? Based on their original timeline, I think they were expecting some kind of results.

2) They have an interest in GLP-1 RA because it affects biological pathways that come up in the ME/CFS genes they identified such as synaptic and calcium signalling, glucose homeostatis and endothelial dysfunction.

Completely anecdotally, I've been taking wegovy for 2 months now and I do think I've seen a massive improvement in joint aches and pains and some in fatigue levels!
