Really interesting work. The characterization of these EVs is useful for getting an impression of whether they are guided by markers on the vesicle's surface.
This is the kind of basic research we need more of. Of course we are all antsy to get a cure. But the chances of that happening are just so much higher the more we understand where to look. ME/CFS research is still in its infancy.
2) Extracellular vesicles are tiny lipid particles that are released by cells and soft of act like mail carriers, transporting proteins, fats, and genetic material (RNA) from one cell to another. Their contents might give a clue to what's happening inside the body.
