I don’t understand why researchers design studies with major flaws that will create doubt in the results? Such a waste of limited money, time, and precious patient hope.
2) Let's start with a limitation that stands out: this wasn't a randomized trial. Although there were 89 patients assigned to the intervention and 93 to a control group, this assignment wasn't based on chance. This means the groups might have differed in various ways.
