Getting back to normal after a few days of holidays. VStrom 800 DE is so, so close to the bike I need for the 10k tour. 1cm, if that, too tall? (I'm about 173 cm. Seat height is 85.5 cm) #motorcycles #motorbikes

worry less about getting your efeet to the ground and more about how your legs are on the pegs. 馃榾 You are gonna spend more time with your feet on the pegs and your hands on the bars.

I think most proper motorcycle boots already have a slightly thicker heel than those here and you could get some extra height with leather working boots without entering cumbersome to shift territory. Daytona makes extra high boots(6cm). I guess other manufacturers too.

You'll get a little sag in the suspension, too when you're all loaded up. Great looking bikes.
