Running a coffee maker with a tiny 12v power pack is extremely satisfying. I'm trying to design a leisure battery setup for the 10k motorcycle tour. Two of the blue power packs, about 140 Wh, are my target.

The next stage is to build a split charging circuit with a cheap DC-DC current-limiting circuit and relay. Theres a nice programmable Victron unit available but, hey, why make it easy.
Have you considered an aeropress? Then you could use a generic water heater (also for soup, etc). Plus, there are hand-grinders that fit into the aeropress for even compacter storage.
