Chippy @meetmobility.com · 2d We rescued a bike that had gone off a steep switchback (rider ok) which goes some way to explaining why we only averaged 20 mph on the 5 country day trip. Given that Laverda model had a propensity for blowing its engine to smithereens, it is amazing that you saw one on the road. When it was originally released, I tested it in my role as a bike journo - but the press loaner they gave me blew up just 50 miles after I collected it 💥
It was a Laverda in name only!
