I love how the story starts in their childhood, so we can learn about their motivations and see their love for one another grow. 1/3 #booksky

It sets a tone for the next part when they are adults within the crime syndicates. I enjoyed how this magic system was explained through lessons and lore. I also love how morally grey both main characters are. A fantastic read! 2/3
