Rie @megu.dev 路 Jan 3 Discord fixed screensharing on wayland a month or so ago (on canary). They broke it again yesterday, not with a bug, but by removing the code that fixed it in the first place. Are they okay?

Don't think they were OK since the FAANG managers came in ...
You have to stop using that buggy piece of mess. Vesktop is currently best serving my wayland de and screensharing.

maybe it's not the year of the Linux desktop
discord feels like just one big repo where every dev has permission to push to main with no quality control
I think discord just doesn't like Linux, have they bothered to fix audio for screen sharing in the official client yet?
