Trials of Innocence isn't on steam right now???
So here's the story. Back then in 2014, a bunch of people started a mock trial in the Chinese AA community, and a year later, funded by a game company, they decided to expand it into a complete game. In 2015, they started to release the game called "这个家伙无罪" (basically "This Guy Is Innocent" in English) chapter by chapter as a mobile game, and it got pretty popular. The game's final chapter was released in 2018. After that, the developers had been thinking about making a remake of the game. The picture on the top left is the sprite of the same character in the old, original game. It took them quite some time to release Trials of Innocence, since this time they have to make the game with the help of crowdfunding, and the main writer of ToI (who was also the writer of the mock trial and the original game) was suffering from a serious disease. About a few months after the death of the writer, they have finally managed to release the game recently. Also, the main writer was the leader of the EN translation team, and his death could be the reason why the translation is so rough (It's just my guess)
