If you save millions of lives by making a few phone calls, would you? Because if you have a Republican congressperson as your house rep or senator, you have this opportunity right now. You need too be calling them day and night demanding that they vote NO on this horrendous budget bill, or else millions of American citizens - mostly children and the elderly - will die. Dont let your inaction be the cause of this - or their deaths will be on your heads for eternity. This bill does nothing but screw over the poor to benefit the rich. And I say this as someone who would benefit, at least a little bit, by its passing. It's cutting significantly into both Medicare and SNAP - these are programs that are a net positive for this country (unless you like it when your fellow citizens die from treatable illnesses and/or starvation). Several of you that can see this post are on Medicare RIGHT NOW - how are you going to pay your medical bills when this gets cut? Even if you are not on Medicare, but do live in a rural area, theres a good chance that your locall hospitalls will have to shut down over this. This isn't red vs blue, and it's not a game. This is real life, and your choices and/or unwillingness to take action are going to cause the deaths of millions. The only "us vs them" going on here is the working class vs the ultra wealthy. If you think l'm wrong, or are unsure, please ask me any questions or point out the flaws in my arguments. I'm happy to explain more clearly ir go deeper into any of my reasoning. This is serious, you can't just bury your head in the sand about this - it's YOUR fault if this passes.

To the House Democrats: I must insist that you and the rest of the House Democrats (and anyone else with a spine over there) immediately begin the process of impeachment on the following Senators: Catherine Cortez Masto, Richard J. Durbin, John Fetterman, Kirsten Gillibrand, Maggie Hassan, Angus King, Gary Peters, Vrian Schatz, Jeanne Shaheen, and most importantly: Chuck Schumer. By voting YES on the cloture today, they have violated their oaths of office. "against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC" and "faithfully discharge the duties of the office", specifically. They ignored their constituents, the House Dems, and most of this country. This cannot stand. There absolutely must be consequences for their cowardly and traitorous behavior. This is exactly why the Democrats keep losing elections.
