It is December 14th, 1854, the Crimea, outside the walls of Sevastopol. Last month, a hurricane destroyed the HMS Prince and dozens of other vessels carrying supplies to the Allied forces arrayed between Camp Balaklava and Sevastopol. These supplies included cold weather gear, ammunition, and most importantly, food.
