The distance between constructive criticism and just criticism is about 1000 miles. It pains me to see other artists do the latter.

100% this. When I taught, I tried to create an environment where the students could freely speak analytically with each other. I worked on their vocabulary and tone to critique with the goal of uplifting their craft. The art of communication is just as important as the craft and training.
