It's important to remember what the Ellisons did in dismantling CBS News & 60 minutes. 60 Minutes blew open 3M & Dupont's poisioning of America with PFAS's, they helped kneecap Big Tobacco, Big tech sweatshops, Abu Ghraib, etc. Finally they had two Epstein pieces which Ellisons killed.

Wouldn't it be a shame if all those sacked from 60 minutes got together with another network and did a 60s mins style takedown exposé in the people who came into CBS and started sacking everyone
Pelley has officially entered the pantheon of Murrow and Cronkite for his integrity and unwillingness to stay silent and collect a paycheck in the face of such unethical behavior. Nothing but respect for him.

I think CBS is in a downward spiral. They used to be the Tiffany Network. I remember their Saturday night prime time schedule as a leader in innovation.

You'd think leadership of one the world's biggest media outlets would bring extreme savvy and PR in engineering a coup against the platform's crown jewel. Instead they idiotically underestimated the skills of its most elite investigative reporter. What does that say about how they "do the news"?
