Was all set to applaud this folksy rendition of Christmas traditions for its inclusiveness—then I read the 4th set of panels. Whoever vets these things for display in one of my hometown's most delightful parks was either asleep at the switch or in cahoots with someone grinding a very peculiar ax.

For a bit of context: If you extend the historic Mason-Dixon Line through Missouri, it will pass right through Mark Twain's Hannibal and my hometown of St. Joseph. Growing up there, I was only vaguely and somewhat naively aware of racism, and blissfully unaware of Confederate sympathies. 2/5
