I'd want to be more careful with that stat, as stated it is false. The average net worth of owners exceeded that of renters by a factor 7 in 2019. I think you want median, where that ratio is roughly right. (I get around 26 to 27.) Although I think you want to adjust by age, which gets this to ~20.
