Without the connecting tunnel it is unequivocally a seperate line!
Took an SL3 to Airport and now we’re on a packed Blue Line train to Orient Heights! We heard some yelling on the platform - did someone win the World Cup yet?
Not since they got rid of the dual modes
My gut leans yes; because SL4/5 cost a local bus fare while the SL1/2/3 bus tunnel routes are the subway fare.. though I guess that logic could lead to “express bus is also a different mode because it charges a different fare” which would be silly
