That is so amazing. And probably economical too because you could use up odd, small pieces of the fabric left from cutting the big pieces.
What is up with the asymmetry at center front? Thats what I want to know.
Ah! This piece in the auction (left) has an extremely similar construction as one at the Met (right). I had to look up the latter to see if it had been deaccessioned (although now I can see that it's a totally different print). bid.augusta-auction.com/online-aucti...
